Bio
Sara Abou Chabake’s postdoctoral project examines the links between child maltreatment, neurodivergence, and children’s mental health. Drawing on Quebec clinical-administrative health data covering more than 18,000 children, including 8,000 who received youth protection services, she aims to better understand how these experiences affect mental health and to map these children’s care trajectories, in order to support more inclusive and equitable practices.
