Conference | Better Understanding Slut-Shaming to Support Adolescents
On April 2 2026 will take place the conference “Better Understanding Slut-Shaming to Support Adolescents”. This day of discussion and reflection will be held at the Université de Sherbrooke’s Longueuil campus (150 Place Charles-le-Moyne, Longueuil, Québec, Canada).
This conference aims to create a space for dialogue between knowledge derived from scientific research and insights from practice settings. It is intended for researchers as well as professionals working in education, health services, and social services.
Through a series of presentations led by experts, participants will have the opportunity to explore diverse perspectives, discuss current issues, and reflect on concrete courses of action related to the phenomenon of slut-shaming among youth. These exchanges will not only foster a better understanding of adolescents’ needs but also contribute to scientific reflections with a view to practical and lasting impacts.
Registration will open in January 2026.
